Currents, our current events club, meets once a week on Mondays to discuss the events of the previous week. The club is ideal for students who want to discuss current events without the time commitment of a comprehensive class. Topics will vary depending on world events, but could include things like international affairs, gerrymandering, immigration, state election laws, executive orders, etc.

Currents is for students in grades 9-12. It includes discussions of whatever is in the news, and that may include mature themes such as abortion, civil rights, and LGBTQ rights.

The club meets on Mondays from 3:30-4:20 ET.

The first club meeting with be August 24, 2026.

$30 per month.
